OUR FOUNDER
Clarence Anicholas “Nick” Clemons, III is the eldest son and namesake of the The Big Man. Born in New Jersey in 1968, Nick followed in his father’s footsteps in many ways. Inspired and encouraged by his father, he pursued music with passion and dedication, often performing with his own bands at shows with his father. Through years of blood, sweat, tears AND practice Nick ultimately became the leader and front-man for The Nick Clemons Band. In addition to The Big Man's muse, Nick also inherited his father’s entrepreneurial spirit, delving into media production and management.

Shortly after his father's passing in 2011, Nick founded a business which licensed his father's name and image to a number of different products through a parent company - BIG MAN'S WEST. In each instance, Nick always focused on representing the spirit and character of his father.

Big Man's Brew was the first product line that would represent his father's passion for life. After numerous struggles with the original Big Man's Brew management team, Nick finally cleared all the hurdles and assembled a new team - a diverse, talented and passionate group of individuals who share a common goal - to bring exceptional brews to our patrons. With a blend of expertise, creativity and passion, the team work tirelessly to promote the brand and ensure its availability in the market.
OUR BREWMASTER
Barry Holsten, is a master craftsman in the world of craft beer. With a passion for brewing that spans over two decades, Barry has honed his skills in both traditional and innovative brewing techniques. His journey began in a small homebrew setup, quickly evolving into a celebrated career marked by award-winning ales and lagers. Barry's philosophy centers on quality, creativity, and sustainability, often experimenting with unique ingredients to create bold, memorable flavors. As the Head Brewer for Big Man's Brew, he has shown a relentless pursuit of the perfect pint to ensure that every sip exceeds expectations.
